The beginning

Hello, I'm Daniela, founder of MIMOPOP.

Before discovering Korean skincare, I went through a phase where I had acne and needed to seek dermatological help.

At the time, the recommended products were aggressive, which ended up weakening my skin barrier and making my skin even more sensitive.

I started trying pharmacy products, but they didn't help either.

The discovery

It was in this search for something that truly worked that I started to become interested in Korean skincare.

What caught my attention was how the formulas are designed: effective ingredients, balanced combinations, and a more careful approach to treating the skin without aggressing it.

This experience made me much more aware of what I put on my skin.

Korea

In 2024, during a trip to Korea, this interest transformed into a true passion.

Every day I would pass by Olive Young and be fascinated by the variety of products and solutions for different skin needs.

At the same time, I realized that even surrounded by so many options, without guidance, it's still difficult to know what to choose.

I was lucky enough to receive recommendations from people who really understood the subject, and that made all the difference.

MIMOPOP

It was from this experience that the desire to create MIMOPOP was born: to bring to Portugal not only Korean products I believe in, but also the help I felt was missing when we don't know where to start.

After much preparation work, MIMOPOP was launched on November 23, 2025.

Today, it remains true to that: sharing products I trust and helping each person find what makes sense for their skin.
